Program:
Drew Jaskowski and Samantha Defour were two of this year's Roscommon Rotary Scholarship recipients and they each gave a brief presentation on their high school activities and where they will be heading in the fall. Both students are headed to the University of Michigan and we wish them luck and hope they will check into the Rotaract Club once they get settled.
After their presentations, Troy Fairbanks and Cathy Erickson both spoke about the club's Scholarship Committee and our need to replace two of the committee members. Troy will be sitting out the next couple of years as he has two children who may be potential candidates and we also need to replace Karrie Williams' position on the committee. Jim Anderson and Jim Fisher volunteered to fill those positions.
Please Note: Our meeting on September 16th will be Gahagan Nature Preserve and lunch will be provided.
